Senator Brown was elected to represent the people of Senate District 36 in November 2006 and reelected in 2010. He was appointed by the President Pro-Tempore Brian Bingman
Fighting for the education and protection of Oklahoma's children is of utmost importance to Senator Brown. As a grandfather of five homeschooled children, this personal freedom is a priority for him both personally and in his role as a Senator.
Senator Brown has held fast in his beliefs in the protection of unborn children. He is also a champion in the fight to protect the Constitutional freedom and protection of Oklahoma's citizens. As a political and financial conservative, Senator Brown continues to work towards these ends as a servant of the people of Senate District 36.

Senator Brown is a civic leader with a passion for service. He was president of the Broken Arrow Rotary Club and is the past president of Gatesway Foundation, an organization that helps the mentally and physically disabled.
Senator Brown is married to Linda Brown, a longtime teacher at
